Are you a taiko teacher or performer who is interested in traveling to NZ?

Tamashii is always keen to expand our style and share ideas with taiko artists from around the World. If you are planning a trip to New Zealand, let us know and we can enjoy some time drumming together.

Professional Taiko Teachers, Performers, and Musicians

If you are a professional performer, we would be keen to do a workshop with you and exchange notes, performing tips and styles. We can also help make your NZ holiday more enjoyable, by offering some recommendations on accommodation, and give you a tour of some of Auckland's best sights.

Musically, Tamashii is particularly focused on;

Taiko (chu-daiko, o-daiko, shime-daiko, and oke-daiko styles and songs)
Flute (shinobue)
Shamisen (Tsugaru-jamisen)

Taiko Students Visiting NZ

If you are studying taiko at a non-professional level, and just visiting NZ for a holiday, we would still be keen to meet you and invite you to one of our taiko classes for a bit of fun and artistic exchange.
